What Makes Fragments Different?
Unlike crossword puzzles or word searches, Fragments challenges you to think about how pieces of words fit together. Every puzzle has exactly one correct solution, rewarding observation, vocabulary, and logical thinking.
How It Works
- Study the Fragments ~ Each puzzle contains seven fragments of a hidden word, each containing one or two letters.
- Rearrange Them ~ Move the fragments until they begin to fit together. Click on any of the “Word Fragments”, then click on any “Solution” square to place that fragment, which will be highlighted in green if placed in the correct position.
- Eliminate False Starts ~ Continue until all seven “Solution” squares are filled. The puzzle is solved correctly when all “Solution” squares are green. Only one arrangement forms a valid English word.
- Solve Today’s Puzzle ~ The goal is to solve the Fragments puzzle with the fewest number of clicks on the “Word Fragments”. Best possible score is “7” — all seven word fragments placed correctly with no incorrect placements. Return tomorrow for a completely new challenge.
