LetterFitz Daily Double starts simply — some letters are already in place, and you have six Answer Options to fill the remaining spaces. But every puzzle has two different six-letter solutions using the same setup.

Find either word first, then find the second word. Challenge yourself to solve both words with as few attempts — and as quickly — as possible. Then come back tomorrow for a brand-new Daily Double.

How to Play LetterFitz Daily Double

• Study the puzzle. Some letters of the six-letter word are already in place, while the remaining positions are empty.
• Look at the six Answer Options provided below the puzzle.
• Select letters from the options and place them in the empty spaces where you think they belong.
• Find the first correct word. Either of the puzzle’s two solutions may be found first.
• Find the second word. After you find the first solution, the puzzle resets with the same letters in place and the same Answer Options. Now find the other six-letter word solution. Some Answer Option letters may be needed in both solutions.
• Challenge yourself to find both solutions using as few attempts — and as little time — as possible.
